ドライブシャフトブーツを交換しました！

Replacement of CV boot(ドライブシャフトブーツ)
こちらのお車はドライブシャフトブーツが破れ、グリス漏れを起こしていました。
In this car, causing of grease leakage, the cv boot were torn.
ドライブシャフトブーツに破れがあると、ベアリングにホコリや水分が付着し早期摩耗を引き起こします。
そうすると、ハンドルを切って曲がる際に「ゴリゴリ」という音がし始めます。
最悪の場合、ドライブシャフトのボールジョイントが外れて走行不能になる可能性も。ドライブシャフトブーツはジャバラ状のゴムでできており、経年劣化し伸縮が繰り返されると破れてしまいます。
交換目安は、およそ5万km、5年。
（但しあくまでも個人差があり、乗り方により違いがあります。一概には言い切れません。）
車庫入れなどでハンドルを切る回数が多い方は、劣化も早いかもしれません。
ちなみにドライブシャフトブーツが破れていた場合は、車検に通りません。「ゴリゴリ」異音がしたら、ドライブシャフトブーツかも！

(however, it is depending on how you ride so, could not say exactly.)
The main point is, can fail a vehicle inspection for a torn CV boot.
When you turn the steering wheel and hear noises such as clicking sound or popping sound, it is highly likely you have a broken or worn CV boot.
If you notice any gripping sound, consult with mechanic immediately.
