ドライブシャフトブーツを交換しました！

Replacement of CV boot(ドライブシャフトブーツ)

こちらのお車はドライブシャフトブーツが破れ、グリス漏れを起こしていました。
In this car, causing of grease leakage, the cv boot were torn.

ドライブシャフトブーツに破れがあると、ベアリングにホコリや水分が付着し早期摩耗を引き起こします。
そうすると、ハンドルを切って曲がる際に「ゴリゴリ」という音がし始めます。
最悪の場合、ドライブシャフトのボールジョイントが外れて走行不能になる可能性も。

ドライブシャフトブーツはジャバラ状のゴムでできており、経年劣化し伸縮が繰り返されると破れてしまいます。
交換目安は、およそ5万km、5年。
（但しあくまでも個人差があり、乗り方により違いがあります。一概には言い切れません。）
車庫入れなどでハンドルを切る回数が多い方は、劣化も早いかもしれません。
ちなみにドライブシャフトブーツが破れていた場合は、車検に通りません。

「ゴリゴリ」異音がしたら、ドライブシャフトブーツかも！

The most common problem with CV boot is when the protective boot cracks, tears, or becomes damaged. Once this happens, the greases leak out and moisture and dirt get in, causing the CV joint to wear faster and eventually fail due to loss of lubrication, and corrosion.

The standard replacement of CV boot, time is about 50,000 km or 5 years.
(however, it is depending on how you ride so, could not say exactly.)
The main point is, can fail a vehicle inspection for a torn CV boot.
When you turn the steering wheel and hear noises such as clicking sound or popping sound, it is highly likely you have a broken or worn CV boot.
If you notice any gripping sound, consult with mechanic immediately.

Brake fluid is a type of hydraulic fluid used in hydraulic brake and hydraulic clutch applications in vehicles. It is used to transfer force into pressure, and to amplify braking force. Simply stated, when you apply your foot to the brake pedal, brake fluid transfers this force into pressure to the front and rear brakes and stops the vehicle. It works because liquids are incompressible.
Like oil, brake fluid loses its effectiveness over time. The fluid can absorb moisture, which can lead to corrosion in your hydraulics system and other problems that make your brakes less effective, decreasing your ability to stop in critical driving situation.
In short, without brake fluid, there is no braking.
Most people neglect this service until there is a problem with their braking system. To prevent problems from arising and help your system last longer, we recommend having the brake fluid changed every one to two years.
We highly recommend changing brake fluid in every two year, timing of vehicle inspection.

要するに、ブレーキフルードがなければ、ブレーキはかかりません。

スタビライザーリンクは、走行中の大きな横揺れを防いで車体を安定させているスタビライザーをサスペンションに繋いでいるものです。
スタビライザーリンクのジョイント部には、金属部分が擦れ合った際に摩擦が起きないように潤滑油（グリス）が塗られています。
このグリスが外に出てしまわないようにゴムブーツがあるですが、ゴムブーツは、経年劣化で破けてしまうこともあります。
破けてしまうと下の写真のように中のグリスが漏れてきてしまいます。
そうすると、なんだか不安にさせる「コツコツ」音がしだします。
The Stabilizer link is the one that is connecting the car to preventing the big side tremor on the run.
Lubricating oil (Grease) is applied to the joint part of the stabilizer link so that friction does not occur when metal parts rub against each other.
There are rubber boots so that this grease does not go out, but rubber boots can be ripped with age degradation.
When you rip it off, the grease inside is leaking like the picture below.
So, the sound of ′′ shake ′′ that makes you anxious.

今回は新品のスタビライザーリンクと交換しました。
3枚目と5枚目の写真は古いスタビライザーリンク。
グリスが漏れています。
音がしたからすぐに走れなくなるわけではありませんが、
注意点としては、グリス漏れをしている場合は交換をしないと車検に通らないこと。
今回は新品のスタビライザーリンクと交換しました。

It’s me Sangita, a newcomer of 車検のコバック横浜綱島店（Marushin Co. Ltd). Today I would like to give some information about “SHAKEN (Car Inspection)”.
Shaken, a contraction of automobile inspection registration system(自動車検査登録制度）is the name of the vehicle inspection program in Japan for motor vehicles over 250cc in engine displacement. Shaken is the dreaded biennial vehicle safety inspection required by law to drive a car on public roads in Japan that must be conducted every 2 years.
The main reason of inspection system is, in place to ensure that vehicles on roads are properly maintained and are safe to be on the road. And the another reason of inspection is, to determine if a vehicle has been illegally modified.
According to type of vehicle, vehicle weight tax , compulsory insurance processing fee, model year, necessary repairs to pass the test , the cost will be different. If the model year of vehicles over 10 years old leading to an extremely high effective If there is nothing that needs repairing on your vehicle, you should be looking at paying about 40,000 to 100,000 yen. Before 1 months of due date of shaken certificate, can booking for inspection process. For booking, need previous shaken certificate, annual vehicle tax receipts, liability insurance (jibaiseki hoken), assure that no unpaid parking violation foul.

私は新人のサンギタと申します。本日は「車検」についてご紹介させて頂きたいと思います。
車検は、自動車検査登録制度のことで、排気量250ccを超える自動車に対する日本の自動車検査プログラムです。車検は、自動車を運転するために法律で義務付けられている自動車安全検査です。安全に道で走る為 ２年or１年（車種による）ごとに実施しなければなりません。
実施の主な理由は、車両が正しくメンテナスされており、安全に道路を走れる状態であることを確認する為の制度です。また、車両が違法に改造されていないかどうかを判断することも一つです。

費用は、車両の種類、車両重量税、義務保険の手数料、年式等車検を通すために必要な修理によって異なります。 10年以上経過した車両の場合は、料金が高くなる可能性があります。修理の必要がない場合は、4万円から10万円程度の支払いを検討する必要があります。車検は、車検満期日の一ヶ月前から受けることが可能です。必要な書類としては、車検証明書、自動車税の領収書、賠償責任保険であり、駐車違反の販促未納金がないことを確認する事が必要です。

エアコンフィルター交換

Sです♪ご無沙汰しております。
早いもので3月になり、少しずつ暖かくなって参りましたね(^^)

さて、皆さまお車のエアコンフィルターはご存じですか？
エアコンフィルターは花粉、嫌な臭い、排気ガス、ホコリやPM2.5の侵入をブロックし、車内の空気を綺麗に保つ役割があります。
また抗菌剤が塗られている為、カビの発生も抑えられます。
一般的には一年毎の交換が推奨されております。
快適なドライブの為に定期的な交換をしましょう(^^)

今回の交換作業はトヨタのプレミオです。
エアコンフィルターのある場所はご存じですか？
このお車の場合はグローブボックスを外しその奥にございます。

It’s been a long time since I’ve been in March, and it’s getting warmer little by little (^^)
Well, everyone, do you know the ac filter of car?
The primary purpose of air filters, located on most vehicles since 2000, is keeping the air inside your vehicle’s cabin clean. Its job is to filter all of the air that comes through the car’s HVAC system to prevent pollutants, such as dust, pollen, smog and mold spores from entering.
Most manufacturers recommend replacing the air filter every “12,000 to 15,000” miles or at least “once a year”. However, drivers are advised to replace their air filter more regularly if they drive on dirty roads or in highly polluted areas/cities. I highly recommended at least once a year for comfortable drive.
This time we exchange the air filter of Toyota Premio.
Do you know where there is an air conditioner filter?
In the case of Premio, remove the glove box and it’s in the back.
